Abaddon WIP – 4

Nothing too exciting today, I have started work on his trophy rack but all of the skulls need lots more work, just put the basic colours and highlights down.

Third “Quick” Blight King

Another Blight King done. These models are amazing to paint. I am speeding through them (for me anyway – I am a super slow painter), but they are a genuine joy to paint!

Second “Quick” Blight King

Another quick Blight King. Painted this a few days ago but only just getting round to taking a few pics. Really awesome models these, not personally keen on this guys head, but doesn’t take anything away from a great miniature.

Abaddon is still slowly getting finished. I get such amazing “Horus” vibes from this miniature. It’s amazing.

First “Quick” Blight King

This is the first of my quick Blight Kings to be completed. I am trying to rush through these a little. They are a joy to paint, but I am trying to get them finished at a faster pace as they are gaming pieces.

I still intend on spending some time on the characters, especially the Lord of Blights.

Abaddon – WIP 1

Next project on the painting table is Abaddon.  Not only is this guy an iconic figure in the 40k lore, but his new model is very very sweet. I couldn’t resist!

Lord of Plagues

Quick Lord of Plagues I have been working on recently. Need to finish the base (as always) and add some goo, but other than that jobs a good un.

Master of Possession

The master of Possessions is finally done. Well, nearly. I need to do more with his base and tidy up the back pack and cloak. But he is done. I am pretty happy with this paint job, and it is a really amazing model. It has “Word Bearers” written all over it… not you… literally… but well, you get my point.

Master of Possessions – WIP – 4

I am nearing the end on this amazing miniature. I still have to finish his staff and belt buckle, and tidy the robes up here and there. After that it’s the back pack and done!
