So, as you may or may not have noticed, my Word Bearers are a rather bright shade of red. I have been wanting to find a dark shade of red for a long time, but nothing jumped out at me as something I was happy with. Recently though I have been really trying to master a more sinister colour more befitting the Sons of Lorgar,and I think i have found it,. Here is a test mini I have been working on. What do you all think?
Predator is done!
It’s nothing amazing, but generally speaking I am happy with it! Sadly the codex doesn’t really support taking Chaos predators, so I doubt it will see many games, but it’s just nice to paint a model for the sake of painting it!

I have tried a new way of painting my red here, I am happy with it, but it is very different to my old way!
So, with Telion done, I have managed to find a chaos predator I built a long (long) time ago, and decided to paint it up!
This model is so old the plastic has gone yellow in places! Not sure it comes across in the pictures!
I am a little limited by what I paint at the moment due to most of my stuff being packed away for moving house. However I have been able to leave a few things out, and Telion here was one of them!

He isn’t that great, or well, I think he looks good in the flesh but the pics make him look a bit bland.
First Maulerfiend finished!
I may do some more to its base, but generally speaking this is done. I need to do another Maulerfiend (for now) and a Chaos Lord on a bike. Still not entirely sure what I will be doing for that though! How can a guy with a lightning claw and a power fist ride a bike?

The base isn’t finished and I will go back to the raised claw next week. The silver isn’t as good as I would like! Other than that this model is much larger than I thought. Deceptively so. Makes taking pictures against my usual wooden background difficult! However it is a joy to paint, already got plans for the next one!

Tried to get a few angles but the sizeof the mini makes taking photos awkward in my small painting area!
