I am currently working on Warhammer Underworld’s warband Morgok’s Krushas. I will likely return to this guys face, specifically the brow, as the detail isn’t sharp enough.

Fabius Bile
I have finally got round to painting the New Fabius Bile model. He has been a bit of a favourite of mine since the Mark Gibbons artwork (posted at the bottom of this article).
I wanted to achieve a contrast on this model between Fabius’ skin coat, and his own actual flesh. He is so riddled with the Blight, that I wanted his flesh coat to have a more vibrant skin colour than his living flesh. It’s a great new model and a lot of fun to paint. I would have liked some faces on his skin coat, but that’s my one and only small gripe!
Constantin Valdor, Captain-General of the Legio Custodes
I have recently been painting Constantin Valdor. My mother passed away very recently due to Covid 19, and in order to occupy my brain I have really been working away at painting.
This is a very busy model, but it’s a pretty amazing purely because it is who it is. It would be great to paint up the Emperor if Forge World ever release a model for him.
Morgwaeth’s Blade-Coven
I have finished another warband off for Warhammer Underworlds. Morgwaeth’s Blade-Coven.
Daemonifuge: Ephrael Stern and Kyganil
I have recently completed Ephrael Stern and Kyganil. I am a big fan of the graphic novels, so painting these two was loads of fun.
Drazhar
Happy new year to everyone. I hope people had as safe a new year as they could do whilst having a little fun!
The first miniature I have finished this year is the fantastic new Drazhar model. This is a gaming piece, so a few corners were cut, but it would honestly be a great model to do as a presentation piece.
Jakkob Bugmansson XI
I have finished painting up Jakkob Bugmansson XI.
I love this one off miniatures, as they allow me to paint up something I wouldn’t normally have painted, and explore a different range of miniatures!
Magnus the Red (30K Edition!)
During the most recent lock down due to COVid-19, I have taken to painting up miniatures I have had for ages, but not got round to it. One of which was the 30K version of everyone’s favourite Primarch, Magnus the Red.
I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with this model. For a start it is excellently sculpted, and the pose is suitably dynamic, and lets be honest, it’s Magnus, so he is brilliant.
However I hate painting resin, even Forge World’s very high quality resin has been spoilt by just how good Citadel plastic miniatures are. Some of the details on resin figures just don’t come out well in the production process (specifically the very fine detail), and it’s kind of infuriating because it makes painting certain elements of it a chore.
Still, the best Primarch ever has yet another space in my display cabinet!
Cawdor Headsman
I have very quickly painted up the Cawdor Headsman. Love this model. Some of the detail was a little ropey on my version, but it’s a great miniature.
Classic Gotrek and Felix
I have had quite the trip down memory lane during the current lock down. Not only did I paint Aenur, I have also dug out the original Gotrek and Felix models. These guys are classics, and whilst they were fun to paint, you really do get a sense of how much miniature making has come along.
