So work has begun on the final three Gal Vorbak miniatures!

Well, technically this is “finished”. I may re do the fire and the text on the book needs a little more work but I am running out of time and need to crack on with some more “real work”.
Apologies for the dark photos, I will set up the light box soon and take pics of the bikers and the gal Vorbak ASAP.

Two pictures of my WIP Gal Vorbak from slightly different angles.
Pretty intimidating models these because the detail is so high I find myself trying to understand the model. Which is even more difficult because it’s warped to hell and back, and probably not meant to be “understood”.
Generally speaking I am happy with it so far!

Well, the final biker is nearly completed. I can continue with my Gal’Vorbak and the Space Hulk box soon!
This guy hasn’t been stuck to the bike yet as I need to finish the backpack. This should however be completed by today!

Well, despite the allure of both the Gal Vorbak and the Space Hulk miniatures I have decided to finish off my final biker before carrying on with any of the above.
I am a little weird in that if I don’t finish a squad I have started or it isn’t up to an okay standard it annoys me for ages. So I am going to finish this last biker then touch up the first one I ever painted a few years ago so that he is more in line with the rest of them.

Well, this is nearly finished. I don’t have a light box any more, it’s on my ‘to buy’ list, so these crappy photos will have to do!
I have enjoyed painting this guy quite a lot, I still need to fix the battle damage and the Ultramarine sigh on his knee pad but the light is gone so it will have to wait.
I also took a picture of the models side to show you some of the down sides of these clip together minis.
The right leg’s knee is so far away from the actual leg the damn thing looks like Stretch Armstrong. It’s something I will darken and try to hide a little better, but it’s pretty annoying!

Another WIP pic, light is really unreliable at the moment so it’s a bit darker than I’d like.
I suddenly found myself with a rather impromptu day off today, so I am taking advantage of it and doing some painting!
Still need to tidy things up, but happy with it so far!
