I’d love to have got some more time on this guy to go to town on him, but when I get my own version from the amazing new boxed set I am pretty certain I will revisit this model.
These guys are a joy to paint. You need to buy these just for the sake of painting them.
I am currently (very luckily) painting a Primaris Captain.
It’s still very early work in progress, but these models are a joy to paint.
I have finished marine number six.
Work also continues on the last four! Nearly done!
Another quick update on the captain.
Still loads to do, but I’m done for the day now, hoping to get this chap finished next week!
Quick update on my Terminator Captain.
Just finished his face, just need to fix his eye and paint the eye lens.
That’s right, five marines finished!
To break up painting the tactical marines, I am working on my Terminator Captain next.
I should really have painted the plasma gun’s coils green as opposed to teal. But too late now!
I need to clean the legs up, bit of brown got on there whilst basing, but I will do that on all the models when they are finished.

I have recently (foolishly) agreed to take part in the Tale of Warlords event that is occurring in White Dwarf. I chose to restart my Ultramarines! This was for two reasons. One – Guilleman. Enough said. Two – They are pretty easy to paint. This means I can churn them out at a reasonable speed and the new models can replace my very very old ones! 😀

He’s done!
I am happy with this chap. He only took a little over three days from building to completion and I think he turned out okay. I phoned the base in a little. The marble head looks cool, but the rest was a rush job. It was 11:30pm, and I just wanted him done.
I may return to the sword and the flames in the future, just to sort them out, but now, it’s time for Cypher!
