My small Legion of the Damned Squad is now complete!
I’m pretty happy with how these guys have turned out, there’s a lot more I could do with them, but I at least this project is complete!

I recently did a guide on painting bone. There’s a number of ways to paint bone, based on how old or how dirty you want the bone to be, but this is the scheme I went with when painting my legion of the damned models.
This isn’t a very difficult technique, and you could definitely go further with it.
Well, my project to rescue this old model has been a nice little success.
There are parts of the model, such as the face and the skull he is holding, that lost a fair bit of detail in the process, but I think I have managed to fix them well enough.
I must admit, I would love a squad of these guys to go alongside him! :O
Pleasantly surprised to see my Thousand Sons Contemptor Dreadnought in this month’s issue of White Dwarf.
Original pic!
It’s always pretty amazing when I am lucky enough to get my minis in this magazine, it will never ever get old to me. I am very lucky.
Kor Phaeron is finished, and here is a pic of his good self and Erebus representing! 😀

I am not entirely sure I am that keen on their bases, or the scenic base. Nothing wrong with it, just not sure it fits my other Word Bearers.
Here is some pics of Kor Phareon on his own. I love how this guy walks into his suit of terminator armour, and the contrast between the heretical red armour and the loyalist grey is pretty damn sweet.
My own real issue with this model is the face. It looks like he has had a stroke. This may actually be intentional. His creaking body has been pumped full of so many drugs and undergone so many surgeries, that his features represent that. But it doesn’t look sinister, it just looks a bit derpy. Other than that, I am pleased with these two. Loads of the detail is difficult to pick out on these models, and I think I managed to get away with it!
The best character in all of 30k is finished! High Chaplain Erebus!
I have had to phone this guy in a little, as the Kill Team tournament I am taking part in is looming, and I still need to build 80% of the Kill Team, let alone paint them!
I have finished my first House Cawdor ganger. This has been a real joy to paint.
I may still return to this guy. I am not totally happy with the guys’ eyes. I wanted to paint them as having just pin pricks of light, but I am not sure it has worked.
I am also not 100% on the bottle. I just need to take some time away from it and see how I feel.
Great mini though!
I have managed to complete the Guardian of Souls!
I may return to the dark blue robes in the future, and then maybe add some more snow to the model.
I have finished this classic Farseer model.
I was tempted to do a little freehand on this guy, but the understated nature of the mini is what I loved about it, so I have decided to leave it as is.
I love Iyanden Eldar!
